The Western Research 900 Air Demand Analyzer (900 ADA) is an extractive ultraviolet (UV) analyzer for sulphur recovery unit (SRU) tail-gas air demand control in installations that require shelter-mounted analyzers. It measures hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), sulphur dioxide (SO₂), and related sulphur species with high stability across wide dynamic ranges and supports reliable off-ratio monitoring.
The 900 ADA suits cold climates and constrained installations. Operators can install it at grade in a heated shelter. When paired with the ASR900 sulphur reduction sampling probe, the system controls sulphur vapour at the sample point, reducing plugging and improving long-term reliability.
Key features
- Uses high-resolution, dual-beam UV measurement to minimize drift
- Measures up to four sulphur species simultaneously
- Handles wide dynamic ranges for off-ratio conditions
- Supports extractive sampling with long sample transport distances
- Automates zero calibration
- Delivers proven performance in demanding SRU environments
