The Ultramat 23 from Siemens is a compact, multicomponent gas analyzer that continuously measures up to four gases. It uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology to detect IR-active components—such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄), and nitric oxide (NO). It also measures oxygen (O₂) using either electrochemical or paramagnetic sensors, and sulphur dioxide (SO₂) through UV absorption.

This analyzer supports a wide range of applications:

  • Emissions monitoring

  • Biogas composition analysis

  • Ambient and workplace air surveillance

  • Industrial process gas measurements

With its automatic calibration using ambient air, the Ultramat 23 minimizes the need for calibration gas cylinders and simplifies regular maintenance. Its modular sensor design allows users to adapt the analyzer to different process requirements with ease.

Facilities that require stable, long-term gas measurements can integrate the Ultramat 23 directly into existing monitoring systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
