The Thermox WDG-V HP Series is designed for continuous combustion monitoring in flue gas streams with high levels of particulate. Mounted directly to the process flange, the analyzers measure excess oxygen using zirconium oxide sensing, with options for combustibles and hydrocarbons, including methane. They support combustion control and process monitoring in demanding applications such as kilns, furnaces and industrial boilers, including flue gas temperatures up to 1537 °C.
A close-coupled convective sampling design helps protect the measurement system from the heavy particulate loading that can challenge conventional probes. The sample moves through the analyzer without an aspirator, reducing the potential for particulate plugging. Components can also be serviced without removing the analyzer from the process flange, helping simplify maintenance where access and downtime are important considerations.
