The Teledyne GD10 Series is a fixed infrared gas detector designed for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and CO₂ in industrial applications. Its solid-state infrared source and dual-beam optical design provide stable detection performance while limiting routine maintenance requirements.

Continuous self-diagnostics monitor detector operation and optical condition, helping maintenance teams identify developing issues before they affect availability. Hazardous-area approvals and SIL certification are available for applicable configurations, supporting integration into safety-related gas detection systems.

Engineers use the GD10 Series in oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, utility, and other process applications that require dependable fixed gas detection, especially where detector access or frequent calibration may be difficult.

Typical Applications
  • Combustible gas detection around process equipment and storage areas
  • Hydrocarbon gas monitoring in oil and gas applications
  • CO₂ monitoring in industrial and process environments
  • Fixed gas detection in hazardous locations
  • Gas detection for power generation and utility infrastructure
  • Installations with limited access for routine maintenance
How the GD10 Infrared Gas Detector Works

The GD10 measures combustible gases and CO₂ by detecting how specific wavelengths of infrared light are absorbed within the optical path. Because the measurement does not rely on catalytic combustion, it supports stable continuous monitoring with lower routine calibration requirements.
