Reporting to the Assembly Team Leader, the candidate will have an impact in the following way:

Key Responsibilities (Assembly):

  • Assemble Novatech’s analytical systems according to required standards and work instructions, including
    the assembling of electrical and pneumatic material.
  • Ensure assembly methods are followed and develop new ones as needed
  • Following technical and manufacturing specifications, ensure the quality of assembled items
  • Use equipment, space, personnel and assembly materials with the utmost efficiency
  • Attend to the correction of ineffective working methods
  • Notify the Designer if materials needed for assembly are missing to complete projects
  • Suggest any new methods to improve assembly efficiency or quality
  • Comply with Novatech’s policies and apply the procedures and work instructions of the quality system
  • Assist in the verification phase of our systems testing and make necessary corrections
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor
  • Ensure the proper execution of the production schedule and the preparation of the work in order to meet
    the delivery deadlines
  • Inform engineering and/or appropriate people of any non-compliance
  • Help at the request of your Team Lead with certain special projects related to your area of expertise
  • Support shipment preparation and material handling activities
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming parts
      Required skills:
      • Good communication Skills
      • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills
      • Ability to work with precision
      • Excellent tube-bending skills
      • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Basic computer skills and the ability to work with inventory or ERP systems
      • Ability to read and understand drawings / technical plans
      • Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes, including material handling and basic inspection of parts
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs
      • Experience with electrical conduit and/or electrical wiring is an asset
      Profile required:
      • 3 years of relevant experience
      • Industrial electrical and pneumatic systems knowledge
      • Experience in parts manufacturing and the ability to use various manufacturing tools and machines
      • Experience handling materials, inventory, shipping, or warehouse activities
      • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
      • Electrical or instrumentation trade certificate is an asset
