The Siemens ULTRAMAT 6 is a continuous non-dispersive infrared gas analyzer designed for selective measurement of IR-active gases in industrial processes and environmental applications. It operates using the dual-beam NDIR principle, providing stable and drift-resistant measurement even under varying ambient conditions.
Depending on configuration, the ULTRAMAT 6 measures gases such as CO, CO₂, NO, SO₂, CH₄, NH₃ and other infrared active components. Measuring ranges can be configured from low ppm levels up to percent concentrations, depending on the gas and optical path length.
Key applications:
- Combustion and flue gas monitoring
- Process gas analysis in chemical and petrochemical plants
- Cement and steel production
- Environmental and emissions monitoring
- Process optimization in power generation
The analyzer supports up to four measuring components in a single unit. Automatic range switching is available. Internal pressure and temperature compensation improve measurement stability. The unit provides 4 to 20 mA outputs, digital I/O, and RS 485 communication, with optional PROFIBUS connectivity.
Both 19-inch rack and field-mounted versions are available, including hazardous area configurations.
