Technical Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our team.

Reporting to our VP of Sales, the person will be working from a home-based office in the Greater Vancouver Region and will be in charge of the territory for the province of British Columbia. The position has the following responsibilities:

• Organize, manage and expand sales activities within an established territory by establishing a yearly sales plan towards meeting an annual objective
• Usage of existing CRM to manage all sales related activities from lead to order
• Promote Novatech’s products and services to existing and new customers
• Maintain and develop business relationships with customer base
• Develop product and analytical solution expertise
• Emphasize product features based on analysis of customers’ needs, and on technical knowledge of the product capabilities and limitations
• Demonstrate and explain the operation and use of products
• Stay well informed of activities in the territory
• Assist Inside Sales in preparation of quotations and proposals
• Work in collaboration with our BDM, Analyzer Expert, Service and Integration teams
• Participate in exhibitions, shows, seminars and other promotional events

Qualifications and Skills
• Industry and/or sales experience of 5 years minimum
• Engineering or BSc. degree or college diploma in relevant discipline
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Independent, self-motivated to learn, adaptable to change
• Friendly, energetic and outgoing, team player
• Attention to detail, organized. Excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude
• Communications and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license
