We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for an SME.

Reporting to the Innovation, Technology and Quality Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Advance technology projects, such as:

– Improving cybersecurity

– Coordinate the implementation of Sharepoint in collaboration with an external consulting firm (as needed)

– Evaluate the possibility of automating engineering design procedures

– Evaluate the possibility of changing our physical installations to virtual installations

– Optimize the tools used in the company (Office suite, applications related to the ERP system (SAP by design), etc.)

– Evaluate the possibility of introducing an external portal for our customers

  • Implement the digital transformation plan in collaboration with the Innovation, Technology and Quality Manager with the approval of the Novatech management team
  • Support the Innovation, Technology and Quality Manager in the development of opportunity assessments
  • Contribute to the definition of digital transformation development objectives
  • Manage various technology consultants (infrastructure, web, ERP)
Required Skills:
  • Increased understanding of the current state of digitalization
  • Ability to understand and analyze the company’s business processes and environment
  • Ability to deal with resistance to change
  • Ability to determine the level of digital effectiveness of not only the organization’s components but also the technology and digital infrastructure and facilities
  • Ability to evaluate and review innovation processes throughout their life cycle

 

Profile required:
  • University studies in management with a technology profile, LOG/IT or any other related program
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office365, Sharepoint and Visio
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel and other business analytics tools
  • Knowledge of an ERP-MRP system
  • Practical experience in implementing improvement or innovation projects;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team and mobilize towards a common goal;
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts (asset)
  • Very good knowledge of French and English, both oral and written

 

The work will be performed from our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. The candidate will also be required to travel to our Calgary and Mississauga offices occasionally.
