instrumentation. Due to sustained growth during the past several years, our team continues to expand. We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager.

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing the inside sales team located in our Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary offices. His role and responsibilities are to ensure his team adequately, efficiently, and competently supports all commercial transactions that fall under the responsibility of inside sales in order to satisfy the company’s existing and developing clientele. The manager works in close collaboration with the VP of Sales and Service to optimize commercial exchanges with customers, to satisfy our technical sales representatives’ requirements and, in particular, for the following business needs:

  • Quotation creation
  • Order entry and follow-up
  • Technical advice and support
  • Communication with internal and external clients and suppliers
  • Suppliers’ price list management
  • Returns of goods
  • Customer web portal management

Reporting to the Vice-President Sales and Service, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and supervise the inside sales team.
  • Responsible when needed to resolve commercial issues with customers regarding quotations, orders, and delivery.
  • Maintain, develop, and implement new ideas to maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform Inside Sales tasks such as quotation and sales orders to assist team workload.
  • Establish initiatives and work tools to allow efficiency and performance while maintaining a healthy and pleasant work environment.
  • Ensure standardization of the working processes across the country
  • Use and develop performance indicators to assist the management of his team.
  • Lead, coach and mobilize the inside sales team to achieve individual and common goals.
  • Act and behave as a model in accordance with the values and the mission of the company.
  • Conduct team performance reviews.
  • Ensure that the inside sales team respects the company’s policies, procedures, and standards.
Required skills :
  • Oral and written communication skills with ease in presenting to a group.
  • Ability to manage, plan, organize and advance several tasks over time while respecting set deadlines.
  • Ability to handle the pressure associated with such a position.
  • Demonstrate through personality and accomplishments unifying leadership.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Be responsible and reliable.
  • Know how to accompany and guide in learning.
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of assessing various situations, addressing them to the benefit of the customer and Novatech and making the necessary decisions.
Profile required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, administration or other relevant field.
  • Experience in a similar position or a minimum of 5 years experience in B2B technical sales, preferably with analytical products.
  • Very good command of written and spoken French and English.
  • Ability to use technology and analytical tools effectively (CRM, ERP and other management tools).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).


Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas would be an asset:
  • customer service
  • experience with ERP and CRM tools
  • team management
  • sales management
  • industrial processes
  • instrumentation

The work will be performed from one of our offices (Calgary, Mississauga or Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue).
