We are currently looking for an Analytical Instrumentation and Controls Assembler for our Calgary office.

Under the authority of the Assembly Team Leader, the candidate will be called upon to assume the following responsibilities:

  • Assemble Novatech’s control panels and analytical systems according to requirement standards and work instructions, including the assembling of electrical and pneumatic material
  • Ensure assembly methods are followed and develop new ones as needed
  • Following technical and manufacturing specifications, ensure the quality of assembled items
  • Use equipment, space, personnel and assembly materials with the utmost efficiency
  • Attend to the correction of ineffective working methods
  • Notify the Purchaser if materials needed for assembly are missing to complete projects
  • Suggest any new methods to improve assembly efficiency
  • Comply with Novatech’s policies and apply the procedures and work instructions of the quality system
  • Attend to the verification phase of our systems testing and make necessary corrections
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor
  • Ensure the proper execution of the production schedule and the preparation of the work in order to meet the delivery deadlines
  • Inform engineering and/or appropriate people of any non-compliance
  • Help at the request of your Team Lead certain special projects related to your area of expertise.

Profile required:
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Industrial electrical and pneumatic systems knowledge
  • Experience in parts manufacturing and ability to use various manufacturing tools and machines
  • Electrical or instrumentation trade certificate is an asset
